Back in the 1960s I was a big fan of Miss Barbara and her Romper Room that aired weekday mornings on Channel 5 in Cleveland, OH. Along with Miss Barbara, we were also entertained by Mister Jing-a-ling. The moment every kid waitied for was when Miss Barbara would look through her magic see-all mirror and call out kids’ names during the show. Did you name ever get called?
Here are a few scenes from those days many baby boomers can identify with–compliments of the live4entertainment channel on YouTube.

Well I probably have 10 or 15 hours of Romper Room, with Miss Sally and Miss Molly, should probably put a lot of it on Youtube. They knew how to exercise the kids. I didn’t know there was very little of the shows around.
